Dignified lack of pay has led private sector workers in Kosovo to be considered enslaved and working solely to make ends meet.
This is said by the chairman of the Private Sector Union in Kosovo, Yusuf Azemi.
Azem added that by December 31st, they will propose to the prime minister the minimum wage, appealing for the Government to discuss with them because young people are leaving Kosovo.
The minimum wage has demanded as much as the prime minister has declared. On December 31st, we must propose minimum wage. Private sector workers are enslaved, working for a living. Prices have moved around 20 and so on 30 percentx1>
The price rate rate will force Government to increase the minimum wage, but there is still no movement. I prefer the Government to sit at the table to solve these problems. The year 2022 these workers of this category must be changed otherwise these have fled”, Azemi said.
Ragip Muli says he has seen no solution from Kurti Government. He has cited price hikes as unaffordable.
“Sindiya is very good. From Kurt's no good when you take him off. They're just for themselves to work, not for the people. Kurt promised until he got his vote”.
For the people, 5 cents with expensive prices is enough, and for them, it's not good enough. I gotta get the beggars out of the square. Useless promises. Never see Kurti” again.
And Ali Latifi says that even though every day is leaving young people from Kosovo for a better life in the Western state, the government should be allowed to implement its plan and then be called to account.
The nation's “Coca is running away from Kosovo, and that's exactly what they're doing attacking the vote of the people who knocked it down with Belgrade's help on March 25th 2020, where they turned down and brought the crime”.
The “wait for him to realise the programme he has promised, and when we remove the thieves the government will carry out its goals”, Latifi said.
Hilmi Grejqevci stressed that with all the problems facing Kosovo come the cause of the pandemic and the global crisis, although he expects the Government to intervene, EO reports.
“Kesh to be well waiting for unions that these problems have been much more pronounced even earlier. But now let the Government work because they are the result of the global crisis and the crisis due to pandemic”.
That minimum wage is linked to 60 thousand war veterans who benefit the veteran's pension. Not good salaries in Kosovo. The more the Government has to work”, Gajqevci” said.
