Memli Krasniqi continues meetings in Brussels, urges increased EU attention for Kosovo

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, in the continuation of meetings with representatives of European Union institutions, has met in Brussels today, the director of the Western Balkans at the Directorate General for Neighborship and Negotia for Enlargement at the European Commission, Michella Matuella, as well as the entity's chief for Kosovo, Vassilis Maragos.
Krasniqi was accompanied by International Relations Secretary Bernard Nikaj and Euro-Atlantic Integration Affairs Secretary Bekim Colaku.
During this meeting, Kosovo's integration process was discussed, along with other Western Balkan states, deepening co-operation and co-ordination between our state and the European Union, deadlocks in implementing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and other relevant topics.
“Zone Matwella I thanked for the continued assistance the European Commission has given Kosovo in building institutional capacities, while we agreed that this co-operation should deepen even more in the future”, Krasniqi said.
Here, head of The PDK is hosted by Eurodeputet Ilhan Kyuchyuk, who is a rapporteur for Kosovo in the group Renew Europe, within the European Parliament.
