Minister Aliu has said that the country's crisis with electricity is the crisis across Europe.
The rise in the price of electricity in Europe has come as a cause of high demand and temperature growth. At us this is more impressive, because the line with Serbia is not functioning, while the one with Albania is inex1>, Aliu has said.
According to him, at this time electricity must be paid very dearly and it is hard to find on European markets.
Asked whether the government has made the necessary preparations after earlier warnings of the energy crisis, Aliu said they have been aware and are making early efforts to survive the crisis.
“A block of thermocent Kosova B is out of the box, and without the generation of this block our energy capacities are small. The demand for electricity is enormous this year than in the past few years. This demand may have to do with new construction, new users, new technologies, etc. Maybe this is economic development”, he added further.
Minister Aliu has said that difficulties in import of the current have brought, among other things, this situation. The whole thing that we need to do is work hard so that as soon as we get back to use Kosovo block B. We need to look at the possibilities to import energy and it's harder to find that they all have big demands at this time”, Aliu said.
According to him, there is hope that this situation will not last long, adding, that the Government is making maximum efforts.
