Kurti campaigning: We'll cut the power price. Power Kurt: The current is free

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said today in front of MPs in the country that the huge electricity consumption in Kosovo is not only due to the winter season, but also because citizens use electricity for heating because of its free price.

“Consumption is also large because of the winter season, but also because our way of working and living is organised through heating thermoelectrics, but also because electricity is cheap and consumption is easier”, Prime Minister Kurti said at today's plenary session in the Parliament.

But these already deccaratas of Albin Kurti are at great odds with Albin Kurti's statements before becoming prime minister.

In Vetevendosje's electoral programme, specifically at point 18 when talking about power capacities, he had said that electricity tariffs for Kosovo citizens are very expensive.

Albin Kurti had promised that as soon as it comes to power, the price of electricity will be reduced for Kosovo citizens.
