Prime Minister Kurti said Kosovo supports the Berlin process, where all countries are equal.
Any initiative must adapt to Europe's agenda, operate with European rules, and bring us closer to European membership. We have supported the Berlin process and we will continue to support the Berlin process, where all countries are equally equal to”, Kurti said.
But Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic does not see “Open Balkans” as an initiative preventing EU integration.
Montenegro's “Synnisation is to join the EU, we are not asking for something that resembles the EU, anything that looks like its replacement is dangerous for the country. But I still don't see “Open Balkans” as a way you could destroy this goal. I see it in another way that can help European integration. Because we need to increase trust, we have more success, and there won't be many barriers”, Abazovic said.
