Kurti will participate in the EU-Kosovo Stabilisation and Association Council. This meeting is expected to take place by 11:30, according to the agenda published by the European Union Council.

At this meeting, which is the fourth of the Stabilisation and Association Council, the state of relations between the EU and Kosovo will be considered. Participants will particularly discuss political criteria, economic criteria, financial co-operation and implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.

Partners will also have the opportunity to exchange opinions on developments in the Western Balkans.

At the end of the meeting, about 2: 00 p.m., it is pre-empted to hold a press conference.

Free Radio Europe, meanwhile, has reported that during this visit Kurti will meet senior European officials, including diplomacy chief Josep Borrell.

European Union spokesman Peter Stano said Kosovo and Albania have no readiness to meet within the dialogue.

We have made it very clear, after two meetings this year, that the precondition for the next meeting should be the readiness of both sides to agree on concrete results for the benefit of their citizens. EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security (Joseph Borrell)'s latest contacts and EU Representative's diplomacy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak indicated that there is currently no readiness for”, Stano said.
