He wrote on Facebook that it was a great honor and responsibility to take over.
It's a challenge that I'm willing to accept and work hard to justify my faith. We continue with the Central Board's session of choosing the new chairmanship, as well as new members of the Central and Executive Board of LSDM. The LSDM will be re-organised, continue to democratise and modernise. The party is open to the involvement of young people who will be characterised by knowledge, honesty and devotion to social democratic values”, Kovacevski wrote.
Zoran Zaev has resigned from the post of prime minister of northern Macedonia following his party's deep defeat, Social Democratic League (LSDM), in the second round of the October 31st local elections.
Zaev has also resigned from LSDM leadership, taking full responsibility for his party's defeat. He had declared that despite his resignation it is not for early elections but for the government to run another LSDM framework.
