At the scene, police say they spotted a 26-year-old male driver with serious head injuries and a 24-year-old male passenger with serious chest injuries.
Local Media They reported traveling with a 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320.
They were traveling rapidly to Morris Park Avenue, police say, when the driver failed to get back on the road and the vehicle crashed into a pole.
EMS has also reacted to the area and found the death of 26-year-old at the scene. EMS transported the 24-year-old for treatment where it is in critical condition for life.
Police identified the 26-year-old as Kreshnik Kajtazaj, from the Bronx.
