Details of the agreement have been given to Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu and Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli.
Haxhiu has clarified that the agreement with Denmark on renting cells, where 300 prisoners from this state will be deployed for the next 10 years.
She has said that convicts, who will be transferred from Denmark, will not be high risk.
According to her, the money earned by the agreement with the Danish state will be dedicated to renewable energy. Kosovo is the only country in the Western Balkans to sign such an agreement on borrowing prison cells.
Kosovo is expected to benefit 210m euros from this agreement in the next 10 years. / EO
