This has been confirmed by the state's Economy Minister, Kreshnik Bekteshi, with a Facebook status.
He has said on Monday that he has started negotiations with Kosovo on importing lignite.
And in an interview for Alsat, Bekteshi claimed that the plans are for these three million tons of coal to be bought over the next three years.
The government in Skopje announced the state of the energy crisis, on November 9th, due to low local production and dry season, which affected the failure to meet rivers with water.
