According to the Customs report, this operation was launched in the early morning hours, where the goal was to check businesses operating in the region of Zubin Potok, two locations in the village of Zupce and another in the village of Uglar, respectively.

“Operation has been aimed at controlling businesses for tax evasion as well as illegal cargo smuggling activities. The operation is running without incident. Kosovo's customs in co-operation with competent authorities will continue to exercise controls under the implementation of its tasks and responsibilities, with the sole aim of preventing illegal activities throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.

Kosovo customs reportedly invites citizens to report each case of customs officials' not ethical behaviour in the 8,50095 telephone number.

Kosovo's “Dogana has recently launched the Dogana app for smart Android equipment, which allows for announcements of non-professional irregularities and behaviors with secure communication and also provides opportunities to verify kilometers imported from September”, it says, among other things.
