Kosovo in 2022 will submit its EU membership application, what do experts say?

The year 2022 is expected to begin with an important step for Kosovo.

Chief executive Albin Kurti has warned that they have met the criteria for EU membership application.

EU integration process connoisseurs claim the application for EU membership is affirmation of Kosovo's strategic goals.

But that gaining candidate country status can be conditional on the progress achieved by Kosovo-Serbia.

Besides Fetosit, the challenge of gaining candidate country status for EU membership is being seen by Emir Abrashi from Democracy Plus.

But the opposite view with these has Vetevendosje Movement MP Arbresha Kryeziu Hyseni.

The MP claims that the state of Kosovo has been wronged, as according to her it has long since the criteria have been met.

Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina are the two states that do not have candidate status for EU membership.
