The Association of Patients Rights in Kosovo, in honour of Universal Health Services Day, has organised a table with the “theme. Health insurance”.
According to the association's first member, Fadil Kryeziu, 1/3 of the population in Kosovo does not receive the necessary health service, while 18 per cent of the population do not ask for health service at all due to financial difficulties.
While Deputy Health Minister Arsim Berisha promised that through the new law he would intervene in the law.
“Public health insurance is one of the government's top priorities and in the Kosovo Government plan, where we will intervene in the laws because it also wants time to be at a contemporary level to strengthen human, infrastructure administrative capacity as a condition for launching the collection of” contributions.
