The workers of the New Kosovo Energy Corporation Union are protesting today before the Termo Power Division “Kosovo B”. They demand that collective agreements be implemented, have health insurance in one year's term, and receive 13th pay.
In this case, one of the protest organisers, Nexhat Llumnica, deputy head of the new Kosovo Energy Corporation union, has said they have addressed their demands, but have so far not been taken into account.
He has stated that they have carried out the work plan over 100 percent, but that they are not recognized for their annual holidays or their 13th salary.
We've been addressing several demands for two years, so the Labour Law can be respected as specified. We've accomplished the plan over 100 percent. In the general collective agreement, we get our 13th salary. No annual holidays with dangerous spots are known, which should be a 30 - day annual holiday. There is no collective agreement, the only public enterprise that has collective deals at the level of companies is KEK, even though KEK is the largest company in Kosovo, the most powerful and financially productive, and with” production, Llumnica said.
