Accompanied by the Special Police Unit, KDS teams have taken action against consumers allegedly stealing the electricity.

In all, eight locations have been checked in Prizren, where mainly small businesses were targeted.

KEDS says consumers are causing considerable damage to the network.

“Consumers that are misusing it, except that they are causing significant damage to the network, are also endangering the general safety of citizens”, the KEDS script said.

They also say they will have zero tolerance for consumers doing so.

On the other hand, Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli has called on citizens to save electricity. That's why she said the effect has only begun to be seen.

Rizvanolli has indicated that according to COST, the peak (peak) of consumption (1.3 GË), which usually occurs during the day, has been moved to 11:00.

This trend of peak consumption at 23:00 (during the low fee) when the fee is 57% cheaper, has continued on Wednesday and Thursday! Thank you all. ”, it wrote on a Facebook post.
