International day of volunteerism is a day set by the UN General Assembly in 1985 and is dedicated to all of those numerous volunteers around the world who sacrifice their personal interests in the interest of society and community.
Meanwhile, in our country, starting at 11:30, at the National Gallery of Kosovo will host the event for marking Kosovo International Volunteerhood Day, with the motto “Vowlenter Now For Our Common Fuere”.
The event will be organised in co-operation between the MKRS and the UNICEF Office in Kosovo.
The event will include Hajrula Ceku, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Ulrika Richardson, UN Development Co-ordinator.
The volunteers of the year will also be announced under the event.
