Infectian Hamdi Ramadani says that from research done so far and preliminary evidence allegedly Omitron could be heavier than Delta.
Ramadani said that compared to the Delta variant, the Omitron variant is making more mutations.
The next “weeks will show how it's happening. You know it's already been two years of pandemic and there's been a lot of variations, mutations...
“From that time until now we have seen that the second or third versions that have emerged are more resistant, Ramadan explains.
“Delta is highly infectious, aggressive, has presented many complications and many fatalities and stays among the most important. I would not like something to happen with Omitron Covid-19, but preliminary research doubts Omitron could be similar or heavier and more intense than Delta”, Ramadani stressed.
