Hoxha: The idea of the Open “Balkan” is not bad in principle

Lawmaker at Norway's Agder University Abbit Hoxha has said that the idea of the Open “Balkan” is basically not a bad idea, writes Express. The one on the “Frontal” show in T7 has said that even the EU and member states are supporting this idea. I think the Open Balkans is not [...]
The one on the <x0);Fropal” show in T7 said the EU and member states are supporting that idea as well.
I think the Open Balkans in principle is not a bad idea. I think in principle it would have to be supported. But I think there are other policies behind the idea of open Balkans. Open Balkans in some form integrate Albanians into the region. In fact, if we look at the Tirana meeting today, EU Enlargement Commissioner supported the idea of the Open Balkans. If we look at EU member states individually, there are pro-Balkans' claims to be opened, Hoxha said.
Furthermore, Hoxha declared that preliminary integration is a priority for EU integration.
“If we look at European Union policies in relation to countries aspiring to EU membership, we see that the more there is a preliminary integration, the likelihood is more that those standards will be met”, he has said.
Basically, according to him, the idea of open “Balcan” is not a bad idea.
I think the alternative to open Balkans can't be bad in principle. But when matters with nationalism are implemented, I believe other problems arise”, he said.
