The hospital Kurti and Osman cut off her tape in September, still dysfunctional

The new Kosovo Paddy Hospital, whose pebble was placed nearly six years ago, which was inaugurated during September, has remained unfunctioned. This is because 22 million separated from the United Arab Emirates have not been enough to operate the hospital after five years of preparation. [...]
The new Paddy Hospital, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, President Vjosa Osmani, of former Health Minister Arben Vitita, on 13 September this year, has still not been functional.
At this hospital, which has been inaugurated for nearly three months, not a single service has been provided.
Its functioning is expected to take place at the end of January or early February of next year, which falls nearly 5 months from its inauguration.
Paddy Ramush Beqiri has told Express that the hospital has not started providing services because of lack of electronic equipment and some equipment.
He has said these equipment is a donation from the United Emirates, but due to procurement administrative procedures, the hospital will not be able to function before January.
While, despite its functioning, will take place during the first months of next year, all health services will not begin to be offered then.
“The hospital has not been functional because of lack of electrical equipment, lack of surgery, and orthopedic. All these have been achieved as donations from Arab Emirates, but they require administrative procurement procedures. We're going to start gradually, we have the transfer dynamic plan that we transfer services one by one so we don't fail somewhere, and I believe everything will be fine<1>, he said.
Bekiqi has indicated that expert ambulances will be transferred first, followed by diagnostic services, and surgery.
It's a big risk if we had transferred services for a day there. We will first transfer an ambulance, diagnostics, then we will transfer the semi-intensive and we will transfer child surgery and intensive”, he stressed.
In addition Beqiri has said they have sought additional staff for services to be offered at this hospital, as according to him, the current staff will not be able to cover the services offered.
All clinics have applied for necessary staff. We've made our demands from security, cleanliness, staff that maintain order to middle staff and high medical staff. It's a new emergency, it's an intensive new pediatric unit and it can't be with the current staff covering up all the services that will be served there, and not to talk about the cardiosurgeon hall”, he added.
While Child Surgery Clinic Director Murat Berisha has told the paper that with the functioning of the hospital, the entire child surgery staff will be transferred to the new hospital. The same will be transferred to the staff of the Paddy Clinic.
Regarding delays in operating this hospital, the Health Ministry has not answered the newspaper's questions.
We remember that the cornerstone of the new Mediatric-Cirturgic hospital had been imposed since March 2016 by former President Atifete Jahjaga and Maitha Al Shams, then minister of state of the United Arab Emirates.
The implementation of this project was meant to be completed in 2018.
