He shows that he instinctively directed the car along the M'gevei and Tornsagervej intersection in Copenhagen, thinking he would find his way home.
Callaku, however, faced a scene of aggression. He saw a man sitting on a woman while he hit her around the head and neck with a kitchen knife. Near the woman was a child who was also stabbed.
He confessed to stopping his car and running to the man who tried to stop him. They went out and fought, and the man stopped with a knife after Bekim Callak. Bekim Callaku has managed to defeat his husband, after which he attempted to take his knife. This eventually succeeded with the help of witnesses and police.
For this act of humanity he has also been praised by the “Carnegie” fund for heroism, being rewarded with a medal and 20,000 crowns for heroism shown.
