Former Constitutional Court Chairman Enver Hasani says at “Debat Plus” that Kosovo cannot escape the obligation it has received for association.
The Constitutional Act has sworn Kosovo's obligation to establish the Association of Serb municipalities”, he said.
“Hipotically even if the Parliament makes a decision under the Constitution to come out of the international obligation to cancel the Association Agreement, that obligation still exists after it is introduced into Kosovo's constitutional rule”.
Hasani says Kosovo so far is not being shown a serious state in relation to pledges taken in relation to the international community.
We are seeking membership in the UN. One of the conditions for being part of the UN or a country just under international laws is to be able to meet international obligations. Our first requirement is to make solid guarantees. But all of our behaviors are a sign that we are not capable of fulfilling the international obligations taken by”, Hasani said.
