Gucati in The Hague: I need surgery again.

Former head of the Association of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hysni Gucati, has spoken at The Hague's Specialised Chambers for War in Kosovo and murders committed by Serbian forces. Until he answered his defense attorney's questions, Gucati has also spoken about his state of health, stressing that he needs to conduct an operation on foot, after 27 conducted so far.

Indictee Hysni Gucati on the first day of his testimony before the court has mentioned the August 3rd 1998 offensive, which he has said Serb forces have attacked several villages, including Morina.

 “The village was burned on August 3rd 1998, on that day was a huge offensive of the Serb secular paramilitary forces, which attacked the village of Morina, Rezall, Makermal, Krysec, until Likoc”, he said.

Gucati has said that the KLA was locked up in 1997 and participated in the August 3rd offensive of 1998.

Nasim Haradinaj's Hysni Gucati were arrested on 25 September 2020 and have since been held at The Hague's detention centre.
