Gucati continues testimony: The prosecution does not take from context the words I said earlier

The trial of former heads of the KLA War Veterans Organisation is continuing in The Hague Specialised Chambers, with testimony from Hysni Gucati. He is responding to prosecutor Valeria Bolic's questions, which is continuing to raise issues related to past KLA judgments and according to [the] intimidation of [...]

The prosecutor has introduced documents relating to the judgments of former KLA members, but the same have not been made public and has not been allowed to be mentioned names.

This document that I've been looking forward to is very sorry yesterday I told you that I was reminding you of my years after the war, the hardest years of my life I've had, this year, July 2005, November 2008, the hardest years have been in my life, the problem I've had with my daughter who died of the 2006 period, my health, which has been in question of my life, so I know that there have been judgments on members of the KLA but what decisions I don't know I't know that I've been in trouble. So I'm so sorry that you remind me these years but it's not a problem, to be in your” conscience, he said.

Prosecutor Bolic has presented several Gucati writings on his website of '%facebook and interviews he has previously given to the media in Kosovo, which according to her concerning witnesses.

“Those who protested in Kosovo in 99 when NATO bombarded Serbian targets to save the Albanians, they are enemies of my country and my nation”, he has said.

While the prosecutor has asked whether his earlier statements imply that all witnesses against former KLA members are associates of Serbs, Gucati has denied saying something like that.

The “you are saying that all witnesses who have testified against KLA members are associates of Serbs”, prosecutor Bolic said.

When the prosecutor has asked whether there are witnesses killed after the same have testified against former KLA members he has demanded that his words not be drawn from context, but earlier writings be read in full.

“Where I mention that all Albanians are against, you find me a fact or an argument that I've all told you, where two million Albanians live in Kosovo or Serbian, Roma, Turks, and all, it's not true, it's not in my life this... don't put forth words in context what you need, read it completely, if you want, then I asked you honored judges to read the text to the end. It's not true I said that witnesses who were opposed The KLA was killed. I call on the person in question if I know a case to be a man not to be afraid to testify, ”, he said.

Gucati has said that any murder that has occurred must be revealed, but according to him, something like this should not be done with injustice and blackmail.

This is the third day Gucati speaks from the witness's bank, after more than a year of stay in custody at The Hague.

He and Nasim Haradinaj were arrested on September 25th 2020.

The flow of documents from the Special, which by a still unknown person have been sent to O'O offices VL- The KLA, and publicisation of this event by the leaders of the organisation, is the reason Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj are being tried.

On them are charges of criminal acts against administration of justice, namely obstructing official persons in performing official duties, fearing witnesses, revenge, and violating the secret of the procedure.
