On International Human Rights Day, civil society organisations with placards with inscriptions “Sexlici”, “nothing more”, “ma” marched from the square towards the police object, prosecutor of the Judiciary Council. And therein are placed the banners.
So they're looking for justice for murdered, raped, harassed and justice for 11-year-old Cameron Wessel who was raped and then killed. State institutions are being required to meet the demands of disabled people. Also, the Government of Kosovo is being asked to take urgent measures to provide a secure LGBTI society
Nol Musa from the YIHR said the government should take urgent measures to provide a secure society for LGBTI persons.
Kosovo's “Government must take urgent measures to provide a secure society for LGBTI persons. Since the establishment of the Kurti government there is no concrete plan for LGBTI and these communities continue to be one of the most endangered and discriminated against by Kosovo society...] all persons, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgians, non-reformals are taxpayers to this state and rights are guaranteed by law and constitution. The state should focus on preventing disasters, rather than taking measures before these happen”, he stressed.
