Giacobbe said President Joe Biden considers corruption dangerous for the whole country, while also talking about the issue of justice institutions, which he said should serve individuals but general interest, the newspaper Express reported.
I want to thank you all for being present. Helping fight corruption is a priority for the US. President Biden says corruption is a national threat to the whole country. Court institutions should serve, not individuals, but social interests.
In the event that Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the director of USAID in Kosovo, Zeinah Salahi, as well as several mayors, Giacube said that “you have sacrificed a lot for this country and only you can develop your state”.
He stressed that citizens can also help in the fight against corruption.
“Citizens have strong tools to fight corruption, they must be active to do so. Thank you for joining us here, and thank you for the will to fight corruption. Happy Day Against Corruption”, Giacobbe said.
