German Chancellor gives good news to Kosovars who want to work in Germany

Germany's new Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, said Wednesday that his government would make it easier for foreign workers to emigrate to Germany and integrate there. He also said he would fight against right-wing extremism, which he considers the country's greatest threat to democracy. [...]
“We are an immigration state, if I borrow a term from our president, a country with a past immigration. But we have to work on becoming a better place for the integration of others”, he said in his first speech in the German Bundestag since taking office.
The new German government -- notably formed by 3 parties, the Social Democrats, the Gelbrit and the Free Democrats -- also plans to facilitate procedures for obtaining German citizenship and lifting restrictions on having other subjects.
In recent years, Germany has become the preferred destination for immigrants seeking asylum or jobs in the state with the most powerful economy of the European Union. Neither have Albanians. In 2019, 4,000 Albanians received a working visa in Germany, while during 2020, because of the coronary pandemic, this figure has been markedly lower, only 600.
