Kosovo Gastronomers' Association Secretary Arian Vranica in an interview for EO said they will hold meetings with the Steering Council to make decisions after measures imposed by the executive.
He said they would pressure the government to implement their demands, because the country's institutions have fallen into winter sleep. According to him, if the situation continues to be calm, then there should be release of sydmos measures at the time of the holidays when fellow villagers, whom he considers an infusion for the economy, also come.
We will hold a meeting with the Kosovo Gastronom Association Steering Council and review our positions in relation to this situation. Proposals to be made in relation to the Government of Kosovo even in the event of no response, which is not happening now and a long time when institutions have fallen into winter sleep”.
If it is continued for a few days normally to be discussed in protest organisation. We try to make the pressure greater. Or there will be openings in the event there is no gastronomic support in the case that even the diaspora is approaching, and it may be considered my only economic infusion in relation to the gastronomial sector or to become covering some expenditures and to postpone TVS to 8%, as it is by 31 December of this year”.
He has made it known that they are considering the possibility of making some legal changes in terms of TVS, which, according to him, should be postponed for 2022.
We're actually considering some action ahead. We're going to need all the parliamentary groups of the assembly to initiate some legal changes, for example TVS, to be put on sale as long as there's a package gap in one year.
“Should also become financial support for owners of wedding-room nightclubs as a kind of compensation for damage in relation to local owners. There must be a subvention of workers for six months and support should be considered in relation to the subsidisation of the interest of these two domains that have been kept closed for 19 months and nothing has been provided in proportion to the closure they made with these two domains for 19 months”.
“Normically that this situation we are opposing and in case the state of Kosovo cannot afford to subsidize it should open up to me. We are challenging and if no solution is found we will also hold protests”, Vranica said.
According to new anti-Convidian measures, gastronomial services are allowed to carry out their activity between 05 o'clock and 11 o'clock, music is allowed only until hour
