On the other side of the world, France has reported the largest number of cases in Europe. That country marked nearly 180,000 cases on Tuesday. Health Minister Olivier Veran earlier warned that the country could mark from 250,000 cases a day in early January.
Italy, Greece, Portugal and England also reported record figures Tuesday, the BBC writes, presented the Express newspaper. The World Health Organization has warned that the risk of Omitron version remains very high.
