“The Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, first visits Albania”.

Initially, the American official's agenda will have a destination for the blue headquarters. He is expected to meet with Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha.

The visit will have the main attention, due to recent developments within the blue headquarters and the battle with former Democrat Freedom Sali Berisha.

The meeting will follow up with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Gacka.

After that, during the afternoon, Escobar will also meet with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

While the presidency and the president of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, are not included in the American official's agenda.

The embassy's release reads that Escobar will meet with other leaders.
The reason for this is “the confirmation of the United States' firm support for Albania's democracy”.

Among other things, American authorities and Escobar themselves have applied for its integration into the European Union.

Among the meetings are expected to be confirmations of stronger defence co-operation and opportunities for trade and investment.

“Escobar will also discuss the United States' commitment to fighting corruption, impunity and efforts to undermine democracy in the Western Balkans”, the embassy suggests.

5 pillars

The administration of the President of the United States (SHBA), Joe Biden, was due to publish on Monday, December 6th, the first US Anti-Corruption Strategy.

It includes the government's approach to fighting corruption.

This, taking additional steps in reducing the capabilities of corrupt actors.

The first pillar involved modernising, co-ordinating and providing US government resources to fight corruption.
The ban on illegal financing to clear the revenues of their illegal activities is ranked second.

Keeping the responsibilities of corrupt actors is the third pillar the Strategy handles.

Maintaining and strengthening the multilateral structure in the fight against corruption continues to remain the focus of the American government.

The conclusion also mentions improving diplomatic engagement and exploiting foreign aid sources against corruption.
Second Visit in 6 Months
US Assistant Secretary of State Philip T. Reeker was to visit Albania at the end of June.

“Undedicated support in Albania's dedication to fighting corruption, including new provisions from the US State Department, through Article 7031evic)”.

That was the main message given by the American assistant secretary.

It is learned that Reeker congratulated and Albanian policy leaders for hosting the military training programme Defender Europe 21.
Among other things, the official highlighted the support of President Biden and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in the Albanian fight against corruption.

But, the 60-minute meeting between US Assistant Secretary and Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha had a 60-day echo.

Disfellowshipping and Non-grats
Two months after meeting with Reeker, Basha would leave out the DP parliamentary group, Sali Berisha.

In a statement to the media, he will say that the <x0ndalja person non-grata of Sali Berisha was one of the most difficult moments for me as chairman, as a Democrat, associate of Berisha”.
Escobar's visit comes just two days before the Assembly of the Parliament called by Sali Berisha, who has been declared non grata by the US State Department.

“would be a historical and tragic irony if the Democratic Party ate grass for the sake of its deputy”.
That would be the sensational statement by the US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, after a meeting with Chief Democrat Lulzim Basha.

Kim's call to Basha was clear: The party moves forward, Albania moves forward. The future is for Albania.

Sali Berisha during his speech at the conglomerate with democratic women would openly declare he would never welcome Kim's ambassador to the office.
This, until she apologizes for the declaration of çbaritʹ.

The honored “lady, the door of Sali Berisha, as the chairman of the DP, prime minister or any position that is will always be open to the US ambassador or ambassador, on the only condition, if she is to be called Yuri Kim, in what kind of function she will never step in my office without asking you to forgive the bar she gave you”.
