Energy expert reacts to Kurti: Electricity can be purchased anytime

Using a Facebook post, Istref Klinku reacted to Kurt, who said yesterday we couldn't buy electricity, that it's not something stored in the refrigerator.

Klink said you can buy the electricity any month you want, and he's called Kurti an engineer of electrolytes.

Kurti, during an interview with the Voice of America, said criticisms that say energy has had to be bought over time, in order to avoid this crisis, are groundless because it hasn't been possible because you can't buy electricity and store it in the refrigerator.

Kurti further added that the country has been hit by this crisis as it is the poorest country, and spends seven times as much electricity in the relationship with industry.

We've been criticised for having had to buy electricity earlier but it wasn't possible because you can buy electricity and store it in the refrigerator you're very exposed to stock prices and there's no country in the region that is an exporter country all are importing. We've been hit hard because we're poorer than others because seven times as much electricity is spent in connection with industry”, Kurti said.

Otherwise Kosovo is facing major electricity reductions in the last three days. In many cities the current is stopping for more than two hours.
