A group of citizens today will protest electricity reductions.

The protest will begin at 1: 00 a.m., ahead of the KED target, to continue towards the Kosovo Government facility.

This protest comes after disappointments over the current reductions, which began last week's Wednesday.

“KEDS and Government have brought darkness back to Kosovo. During this week, the Government and KED informed us that electricity reductions will be restored due to the energy crisis. According to their official announcement, reductions would be from 2 hours at specific times. Despite these reports, power reductions are lasting up to 24 hours. And this situation, according to the Government's announcement, is expected to last another two months”, says the protest announcement.

Otherwise, in a message KED has sent to citizens' address last Tuesday, the restrictions on electricity supply are said to follow COST's instructions, due to the energy crisis.

“due to the energy crisis and by KO guidelines STT will have power supply restrictions at specified times”, the announcement said.

Meanwhile, after the reductions began, citizens have expressed disappointment over the reduction schedule.

In many countries, reductions are lasting more than two hours, as warned by KEDS. /
