A 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale has been felt in Oregon, U.S.A., in the early hours of the morning.
The quake dropped 443 kilometers west of Coos Bay. The depth was 40km, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismology Centre.
Several earthquakes hit far off the coast of Oregon on Tuesday, but there is no threat to tsunami, the National Weather Service said.
Two earthquakes, measuring 5.3 and 5.5, felt about 13:30 and 2:00 respectively after a series of smaller earthquakes in the same area. Two others, measuring 5.0 and 5.8, hit a few hours later. Apparently these won't be the only ones./abcnews. al
