As the Ministry reports, strengthening doses are given to persons who have received two doses of vaccines against COVID-19, but in time their immunity comes down. The reinforcement dose is given six months after taking the second dose.
The third dose is given to people who have taken two doses of vaccine against COVID-19, but on which inadequate immunity has not developed as a result of their poor immunity or associated diseases with the recommendation of the ordinative doctor. The third dose is given no less than 8 weeks and is not given six months from taking the second dose.
Strengthening doses and third doses can all citizens over 18 years of age take at intervals for high check doses.
Citizens will be notified of dates of vaccine through SMS, email and public announcements.
Considering vaccination is the most effective way to limit and disrupt the spread of the virus and achieve the protection of the population, the Health Ministry called on all citizens to exploit centres and mobile vaccine teams throughout Kosovo to vaccinate as soon as possible against COVID-19.
