The former director of police speaks of Serbian bandits who sanctioned America: They always cause trouble

“Zvoanko Veselinovic (Vesselinovic), leader of the Organised Crime Group Zvonko Veselinovic (OCG), is one of Kosovo's most notorious corrupt figures. Veselinovic's OCG is engaged in a large-scale bribery scheme with Kosovo and Serbian security officials, who facilitate the illegal trafficking of the group of goods, money, narcotics and weapons between Kosovo and Serbia. The group has also plotted with various politicians in several quid pro quo agreements, including the bribe in early 2019 of Kosovo security officials to allow their smuggling operations between Serbia and Kosovo and the recent bribery of Kosovo border security officials to allow safe passage for smugglers. By the end of 2017, Veselinovic and his brother Zarko Jovan Veselinovic (Zharko) had agreements with politicians to help their party win elections, ensure political victories for their candidates, and contribute large sums of money to candidates”, the report said.

As a result of these actions today, all property and interests on property of the above persons in the United States are blocked and reported.

Also blocked are any items owned, directly or indirectly, 50 percent or more by one or many people blocked.

The former Kosovo Police General Director Rashit Qalaj has spoken about this, who has described sanctions for Radojicic and others as good news.

Asked whether these developments could affect the currentness of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, or the overall situation created in the Balkans, Qalaj said it would undoubtedly impact.

“of course will influence dialogue, as I believe it will also contribute to dialogue in Brussels, but also to calming the situation in the Balkans”, he added.

In contrast to Radojicq and Veselinovic, the United States of America has put other members of the Serb gang who were constantly operating in northern Kosovo and beyond.

All the names of the Serbs who entered this list are: Milan Radojicicq, Zvonko Veselinovic, Zeljko Bojic, Marko Rosic, Andrija Zeljko, Bojic Srdjan Mililovic, Milan Mihajlovic, Miljan Radisavevic (Mililevic), Miljeljko Radisavljevic (Miljojkovic), Radovan Radic (Radic), Sinisa Nedeljkovic (Nedeljkovic), Radule Stevic (Sevic).

Regarding the news of the United States sanctions against these Serbs, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has responded to the decision, saying that Kosovo institutions are fully committed to rule of law and will co-operate with the US to ensure that our <x0 region does not become a safe paradise for such criminal groups”.

The US Treasury Department's Office for Foreign Riches Control has announced that Zvonko Veselinovic and his brother Zarko Jovan Veselinovic have had agreements with politicians to help their parties win the elections, and in exchange for politicians would guarantee the Veselinovic brothers control over some businesses in several regions.
