On Notification for signing the contract published by the Public Prosecutorial Regulatory Commission, it is said that the reason for the commitment of these experts is because KEKU has technical capacity and professional expertise to cope with this independence with its own forces.
“The EC has no technical and professional expertise to deal with this independence with its own forces, so it is necessary that experts from Germany's GE, which are the original turbine producers. Unit B2 cannot start with these defects without this inspection being made to know the further steps and determine the security level of operation with this situation. As long as there is a need for new parts, for which of them, and what the volume of repairs will be, it should be determined with this inspection”, says the report.
The duration of this contract is 21 days, until its total value is 248 thousand and 650 euros, which is about 12,000 euros per day.
Otherwise, KEK Chief Executive Chief Nagip Krasniqi has distributed images of the work being done at Thermocentral B, where the German-bound expert is assisting.
Krasniqi has indicated that KEK workers are fully engaged and have shown that the German expert is assisting for the B-2 bloc's return to work and that work is also being monitored by the KEK expert team.
Krasniqi has also indicated that the B-2 bloc is not expected to return to work by about 20 January.
“Praising the commitment of the GE expert who is assisting and monitoring the work of the KEK expert team, I thank all TC-B staff, who are fully engaged in sancing the B-2 bloc defects, and in this case announced the opinion that just as I declared at the news conference days ago, the B-2 unit is expected to be back in production about January 20th, 2022, even though our ongoing efforts are to happen even earlier with<1> Krasniqi said.
