Ten days from the tragedy in Glodjan, the fugitive is still on the run

For organs in order, the handle is still unknown after ten days. Interior Minister Jhelal Svechla gave him the ultimatum to surrender last Saturday. The minister said all state capacities have been made available to discover the case.

I'm the one who makes the assassins give up because every day he burdens others, the one who helps the killers is being applied to criminal work. The sooner he surrenders the better for his circle and for the citizens of Kosovo. I can guarantee that we are determined that all our state capacities are available to reveal this case”, he said on November 27th.

And Police Director Samedin Mehmeti said in this case he is not only one suspect. According to him, more than two persons are potentially involved in information they received on the ground. Mehmeti said they are investigating on three tracks how the case may have happened. He has ruled out the possibility that this case was a terrorist act.

“We are currently facing a considerable number of information about the case and have brought additional units and different experts to investigative and operational levels. We can talk about a system of somewhere 2 or three possible investigation tracks. All the information we're getting from material evidence leads to this. Currently, we are talking about a person who is able to connect with others who imply that there may be more than one suspect. So far, we have no evidence of any information that goes towards the terrorist act or the act that relates to religious matters”, he said.

Witnesses have also discussed this event. One of the witnesses who was on the bus the moment the attack occurred has said that the attack was made by a person disguised with tin in his hand.

We're on a bus. And we've got a masked person in hand and he started shooting straight at us. Everything's happening so fast, the guy who's been sitting in the front seat of the bus said.

The bus has been circulated in the Gjakova Rhacoan Revolution at the time the shooting occurred.

It's not clear yet if the bus was a target shooting.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti had named the event a <x0-terresponding” and have invited law bodies to reveal the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

Despite that, neither the author nor the motives of the attack that shocked Decanin on Friday evening are yet known.

Other representatives of Kosovo's institutions and political parties have also condemned the event.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo government has promised 20 thousand euros for each citizen to provide information to suspects involved in the murder.
