Serbia's Parliament Speaker, Ivica Dacic, has said that the Open Balkans “” is Serbia's idea.
Dacic has stressed that the “Open Balkans initiative” submits application of European values and that it is in interest for citizens.
“Nobody prevents the idea of the “Open Bankan”, but the fact that it is Serbia's idea”, Daciq said, writes Tanjug, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
Tirana will be the host city for the upcoming Open Balkans meeting, to be held in two days, which this time aside from the Atlantic Council will include the European Commission.
For two days, on Monday and Tuesday 20th and December 21st, leaders of the three countries involved in the process -- Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq -- will formalise this initiative aimed at free movement of people, goods, services and capital by signing five agreements.
