Cause for the severe situation has become an increase in the cases with Covid-19 in the country, which has apparently held many Italians back to celebrate New Year's Eve abroad. The Fipe-Confcommercio business group said the increasing number of cases and regulations of quarantine imposed by authorities have caused 25%-30% cancellation in New Year's dinner reservations.
