In a KFOR media report, the logistical movement of these vehicles and equipment is said to be part of the pre-set of Kosovo Forces Operational Reserve asset.

During the next year, the first eshalon of the reserve units will be secured by Hungary, ensuring a very high readiness for KFOR that will preserve a safe environment and freedom of movement in Kosovo.

Experienced military drivers from the Hungarian Operational Reserve Battalion will run vehicles, and all moves will be made with any precautionary measures to reduce the impact on public traffic, the report said.

KFOR demands that the population approach the convoys with proper care and respect to communications regulations.

The size and speed of the motorcade, as well as the length and way of travel, are different from those used in daily road transport. In the front and back of the column, there will be tools headed by military police. All movements are approved, co-ordinated and supported by all relevant local and national authorities, the announcement concludes.
