Following reports that in the northern part of Kosovo electricity is continuing as the rest of the country faces severe reductions, COSTT has declared that reductions include the northern part as well.
According to planned and energy available by tomorrow, there will be improvement with reduced reductions.
“As a result of the pronounced imbalance between domestic electricity consumption and the energy provided by responsible operators in the market, major imbalances to the intercontinent system, where around 40% of consumption in Kosovo has been attracted by the Intercontroversial European system. Co-ordination Centre for Continental Europe under ENTSO-E (SwissGrid) as well as the continental European Regional Group (RGCE) the body of NTSO-E have strictly called for the immediate disruption of deviations to the European intercontact network. While the AK Block monitor has repeatedly warned Kosovo's regulatory zone of the situation. A departure from this company has revealed that there will be an improved power supply from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, today the Kosovo government has decided on announcing emergency measures to limit electricity by 60 days, following the recent energy crisis that has engulfed the country.
According to the document published by the prime minister's office, emergency measures in energy supply include imposing restrictions on energy supplies to consumers and setting specific obligations for energy companies.
The government has also decided through this decision to establish the Emergency Technical Committee within the Ministry of Economy with the aim of identifying and presenting recommendations to the economy minister.
And this committee will consist of a representative of the economy ministry -- one from the ZRRE, one from KOST, one from KEK, one from KEDS, one from the KESCO, one from the Ministry of Industry, Intervention and Trade, a representative from MPB, one from the Commission for Mine and Mine and a member from the Kosovo Competition Authority.
