Democratic Party of Kosovo Vice President Vlora Citaku has declared no time for extraordinary elections, as we are still in the pandemic, are costly and that citizens want solutions to problems and not elections.
Citaku in an interview for Blic has said the PDK has not called for extraordinary elections.
“This is not the time for elections, we are in the pandemic and that citizens are tired of elections, they seek solutions. Then they are expensive. We should give the government some more time, no emergency. The demand for extraordinary elections is the opinion of MPs and are not the official PDK positions, as citizens need support rather than elections. We only have one emergency package, which has not been implemented at all”, she said.
According to her, dialogue with Serbia is not Big Brother, but The PDK supports Prime Minister Kurti in the process.
Speaking of the judicial process under way at The Hague Special Court, which is being held against former KLA leaders, it has said the process is persecution, is not justice.
