British Foreign Secretary Liz Trus has met the foreign ministers of six Western Balkan states in London today, the United Kingdom government reports.

The discussions reportedly came as tensions have reached their peak, emphasising on the recently created situation in Bosnia.

The High International Representative has suggested that Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently facing the greatest risk of its existence since post-war there. Also, there is great danger of deepening divisions and conflict. Among its international partners, the United Kingdom is working to ward off threats to stability, following 26 years of progress that had barely been achieved in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, the government-set communiqué said.

The situation is said to have also been discussed at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the seven world superpowers held over the weekend in Liverpool, England.

The United Kingdom is dedicated to the Western Balkans and for the protection and promotion of freedom and democracy in this region”, Secretary Trus was quoted as saying.

The British Government's announcement is said to have been a member of the Western Balkan Summit in 2018, whose leaders gave pledges through a joint declaration of regional co-operation, good neighbourly reports, war crimes and undiscovered persons on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, as well as fighting corruption.
