10 people are reported to be arrested in the Kosovo Police Action in the Shrpca municipality, including former mayor of this municipality, Bratislav Nikoliqi. But who is the latter, and what is his wealth? Shtrpce is one of the cleanest municipalities in Kosovo as far as trash, but as [...]
Shtrpce is one of the cleanest municipalities in Kosovo in terms of junk, but it seems not even in terms of rule of law.
10 people have been arrested after allegedly taking bribes, bribery, and misusing official duty. All of this, following numerous constructions at the Brezovica resort complex, Periscopi reports.
Who is Bratislav Nikolic?
Nikolic is a 42-year-old young politician who has served as chairman of Shtrpce since 2009 until now, in 2021 when he handed over Mr. Dalibor Yevtic.
It is not known for what reasons, Mr. Srska List [Serbian List] has degraded Mr. Nikolic from the position of chairman of Shrpca, but it would not be surprising if it was linked to investigations that turned out to be carrying out the Constitutional Prosecutor at Ferizaj.

In the last election [2017] in which he had participated, Mr. Nikolic had won 73.58 per cent of the vote, or a total of 5613 sosh votes.

Meanwhile, Yevtic has evidently received fewer votes, or only 4148 soos, which at percentage points to 59.79 percent, Pryscopi notes.

Nikoliqi was Shrpca's chairman since he was 30 years old, being one of the youngest mayors throughout Kosovo.
He was part of the Independent Liberal Party when he was run and had not become part of the Serbian List by 2015, or two years after being established.
Nikolic has been working on the OSCE mission in the US government in Kosovo, and has also participated in a mission to Iraq. He has won many awards from the US government for his engagement in Iraq and Kosovo.
Bratislav is reported to be a passionate skier and keeps the black tape in karate. /Periscope
