Albin Kurti meets new KSF commander, Union Jasharin, mention KLA, Jashari family

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the newly appointed commander of the Kosovo Security Forces, Major General Union Jashari, in his office. At this first meeting in the new capacity of Major General Union Yasar, the prime minister congratulated him once again on his new job and wanted successive successes. As a descendant of the glorious Yasar family, you understand that our new army, which is the continuation of the Kosovo Liberation Army, is the pillar upon which our Republic is based, the prime minister said.

With KSF Commander Jashari, Prime Minister Kurti talked about the importance of building capacity and modernising KSF and the support KSF has from the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in achieving these goals.

KSF Commander Major General Union Jashari thanked Prime Minister Kurti for his hospitality today and even more for his faith. He assured the prime minister that it will be fully committed to meeting common goals, to make the KSF a modern force ready to protect the country even contribute to global peace and security.
