In 9 months, over five thousand citizens were patented by a driver

Over 5 thousand and 500 drivers have been confiscated from Kosovo Police by September this year, while for the same period, they have placed negative points on over 13 thousand drivers because of breaking rules in communications. Kosovo police, in a written response to Kosova Prees, have said [...]
Kosovo police, in a written response to Kosova Prees, have said how teams are continuing activities that have linked them to safety in traffic.
Kosovo's “Police continue with activities aimed at continuing to raise security in road traffic, as well as reduce accidents. During January until September 2021, 5556 drivers have been banned from running motor vehicle, and 13 thousand and 532 drivers have had negative points placed on them. We prefer to respect the rules in road traffic, otherwise, rigorous legal measures are being applied and will be applied for greater road safety”, the written response reported.
Communications experts support the Kosovo Police in applying these measures, which are defined by law.
The director of the Applied Technical Sciences College “The Temple”, Muhamed Krasniqi, in a proposal for Kosova Preress, indicated that this approach, though it may not be a long-term solution, but currently serves to inform drivers of the means.
I wouldn't say that it's a long-term solution, but it's the only form to conscious of irresponsible drivers in road traffic, because unless they endanger themselves, they risk other participants in road traffic. All of this is regulated depending on the violation, depending on the road traffic and the repetition of these violations, are regulated with the Traffic Safety Law, and it is good that the police have been put to execute these legal provisions simply with the best intention of providing a safer environment for all with road circulation for all users of”, Krasniqi told Kosovas.
Road communications expert Bekim Ahmeti tells Kosovo that driving permits are taken in case of speeding, white lines and not respecting traffic lights.
He thinks the number of patent drivers taken by police is slim in relation to the situation on the country's roads.
“Pak are taking what is needed in relation to that and the state of communication we currently have. Police usually patent drivers because it's a preventative measure on the communications security law for communications offenders when they violate speed limit, white line, traffic lights and other cases... If the speed limit is violated at a certain rate, if it's been 60 km an hour, and now it's broken by 80 or 100 in these cases, the driver's license is taken, even if we have access to the red traffic light, then police get the driver's license for a set deadline of 3 months, i.e., and with their points being evacuated, results in a 300-euro fine sentence, with the result of this becoming a preemptive for violators and communication law<1> he said.
Kosovo police appeal to leaders of the means to respect the rules, while at the current time, to adapt to road conditions.
