Police have arrested a man in Lipjan who had cheated farmers in Istog and Skenderaj.
The 29-year-old suspect has been arrested in the early hours of Tuesday's morning, under suspicion of fraud.
“Person, now the most under arrest, G.N., allegedly bought eight (8) domestic animals (earthly) worth six thousand and five hundred (6.500), but did not pay the money under the agreement by cheating the victim”, police reported.
G.N. He allegedly deceived farmers from Istog and Skenderaj by trading animals, and then by not responding to monetary obligations, worth thousands of euros.
The arrested “Person has also allegedly carried out several criminal acts of fraud by other farmers from Istog and a case in Skenderaj, by trading animals from certain persons but failing to respond to monetary obligations to parties worth thousands of euros”, police have announced.
Suspect has been sent to the holding for 48 hours.
