But what are the sectors expected to spend these resources?
Most of the money from the 2.7 billion budget is expected to go towards social schemes, education, health and infrastructure. Governments pledged that this budget, first of all, reflects multiple inclusion and investment in many sectors, and is once the highest budget ever held by the Republic of Kosovo.
From official government reports, this law reportedly ensures stability of public finances, a revival of economy and orientation towards domestic production, support of women's employment and empowerment, and sustainable economic development and increased civic prosperity.
The largest amount from the 2022 budget -- more than 700m euros -- will go to the education, health, culture, infrastructure and security sector, while another 20 million have been earmarked for the country's guaranteed employment scheme for youth.
According to the Ministry of Finance's announcement, 40m euros have been earmarked for local producers and 40m euros for the recovery of public enterprises.
Also, 45m euros are earmarked from this budget for additions to lehos and children, as well as 35m euros for social and pension schemes.
On the other hand, budget revenues for 2022 are expected to be worth 2 billion and 364m euros. / EU
