Zaev announces that the solar Park '%Supionome will be built in next year [2022] at the projected site for the Staff cargo airport, which has conditions for building a photovoltaic power plant.
He added, among other things, that according to the plan, the first amounts of electricity would flow during 2023, and complete implementation is expected by the end of 2024. This volume plant will satisfy the needs of some 116 thousand families.

Northern Macedonia will be made in solar park, which will be one of the largest in Europe with the capacity for producing electricity from 350 to 400 megawatts (MË), Government Service announced. It's a direct French investment, the biggest in this area for the local economy.
Solar park “Sticking” will be built over the next year 2022 at the location that was envisioned for Stip cargo airport. Due to wind movements, this location is not suitable for airport construction, but according to analysis of solar radiation, land characteristics and distance from the transmission network, this location has excellent conditions for building a photovoltaic power plant.
For successful investment implementation, the government has approved the decision to determine the status of the company's strategic investment project for electricity production “O STRO SOLAR” Skopje.
This strategic project will be implemented by the French leading company for producing electricity exclusively from renewable sources “Akuo Energy” (Acuo Energy) from France.
The anticipated investment is expected to be around 270m euros, for which the special law on realisation of this investment is being prepared, which is expected to be adopted in the first quarter of next year.
Under the plan, the first amounts of electricity will flow during 2023, and complete implementation is expected by the end of 2024. Electricity production is estimated at around 650 ( GHH) gigavat hours a year, which is 16 percent of the annual electricity output from SHA “ESM” This photovoltaic facility will satisfy the needs of some 116 thousand families.
