Warnings of strike and protest, SBASK today extraordinary meeting

Kosovo's “United Endiance of Education, Science and Culture organises an extraordinary meeting with the municipal-level and university heads, in which the decision will be discussed and made for union actions unless meetings with Government occur or acceptable decisions are made concerning the Law of Pays and the General Impulation of the Kolektive Convention. Otherwise, this meeting was warned Thursday by the SBASAK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj.

He has stressed that this meeting is being organised as a result of his visits to municipalities for the SBASK internal elections, adding that all have raised the issue of the Pagan Law and what this union institution should do.

We'll take the opinion of membership for their municipalities tomorrow, get the opinion of our colleagues at universities, then we'll make a decision together. If anything is decided, I think we're going to have a little protest first, but if that doesn't work out, we're going to have strikes”, Jasharaj said.
