Periscope had reported that Kosovo Government even and the Ministry of Internal Affairs had made a draft bill attempting to politicise civilian staff.
The main problem also by independent analysts concerned the “mandate of civil servants in the middle and low-class leadership positions”.
This has raised even more the dissatisfaction of unionists who have sent Periscope their list of concerns and demands.
Periscope:
What are the Union's concerns about meeting the Law for Public Officials?
Unions:
Concerns are addressed in paperwork which are the following process:
completion-changing Law for Public Officials
A completion-changing of the Law for the Salat
Growth in Salaries Versus Economic Growth
Civil servants' status in the institution where they were compromised
Periscope:
Minister of Iron Murati in a reaction said the Cindicates are caught. How did you comment on this statement?
Unionists:
We're looking for space and space as of November 19, 2019, Mr. Albin Kurti had said at the table organised by the Vetevendosje Movement with the Union on the topic of Social Dialogue-“The inclusion and empowering of union organisation”. The message from this table was that “Unions must be strengthened because workers' rights are well protected when trade unions are strong and powerful unions protect workers from employers' arbitraries, including the state as employers. Job contracting, respect for schedules, minimum wages, rest and other rights should be guaranteed by the state, but must also be protected together with trade unions, workers are stronger when trade unions are more organised”.
So NE representatives of civil servants' unions are committed to providing epilogues to all challenges and topics through social dialogue, and for that we have requested an appointment with Mr. Albin Kurti, prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo.
We believe that the government led by Mr. Kurt will answer our common request for meeting, and discuss all subjects.
